Who is Winston
Winston Maynard Lopez is the formulator behind the Equinox line of natural equine supplements, including Haemequine, Acceleration Plus, OnDeeBit, Untie Muscle Ease, Run Free & Easy, and Breathe Free & Easy.
Born in Trinidad & Tobago, Winston was introduced to the science of medicine at an early age. He is the son of pharmacist Rupert Owen Lopez, under whose guidance he learned the scientific and technical foundations of compounding syrups, salves, and medicinal formulations.
Winstons Education
From 1960 to 1967, Winston worked as a Laboratory Technician at the Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory at the Central Experimental Station in Trinidad. During this time, he gained hands-on experience and advanced instruction from respected veterinary professionals, Dr. Holman Williams, Dr. Leonard Butcher (Tuskegee University), Dr. Robert Leonard and Senior Technician E. C. Clyde Parris
This period laid the foundation for his lifelong focus on equine health and performance.
In 1967, Winston emigrated to Canada to pursue further education. He attended the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) in Vancouver and later continued his studies at Simon Fraser University.
Winston is a Canadian citizen and currently resides in Richmond, British Columbia.
